Other Sources of Financial Aid and Information

Resource Links

On these pages will find information that we hope will prove useful to students planning to attend college and as well as to parents thinking about and planning for the growth and education of their children.  There is a lot of information available on the Internet, enough to be confusing.   We have sifted through the relevant sites and picked a few that seemed to us to be especially helpful. We have grouped links into the following categories:

Career and College Planning
Saving for and Paying for College
Child Development and Parenting
Early Literacy and Education

This is an evolving collection. If you run across a site that you think is especially good, but is missing from our list, please let us know and will post it.

Please, also let us know if a link is broken and we will try to correct it.

Thank you.

This is a link to MCF's Scholarship page where you can get information on the $1.5 million in financial aid available through them. It also has a useful  financial aid resource library with links to other useful sources of information.

Kahn Academy
This is an on-line source of user friendly tutorials in math and the sciences. Feeling a bit shaky in certain subjects? You can brush up here at your own pace and work through sample problems. It's all free because it's underwritten by the Gates Foundation.  The math sections are especially strong.
